Centenary Update

Update for Centenary 2021

Planning for the Centenary remains on track. The flagship event is at Moor Park on Monday 21st June 2021. The format is: meet for coffee and bacon baps in time for a Shotgun Start at 0900 for 100 golfers (25×4), playing Stableford with the best 2 scores to count. Dinner for a maximum of 120 will be at 1500. Another event will be held at Coxmoor on Wednesday 11th August 2021. This will be also be for teams of 4, teeing off from the 1st and 10th at midday, with an evening meal to follow.

The handbook and Newsletter mailed in January 2021 contains details of the events with entries either online or by mail. Those clubs and societies with whom we have a strong association have been invited to send representatives.

Various golf accessories featuring the new society logo will be presented as prizes for all the Meetings in 2021. These include holdalls, umbrellas, caps, towels, shoe bags, tote bags, scorecard holders and fluid bottles. Also new for 2021 will be a range of Glenmuir garments with the society’s logo. Order forms for all these items will be included in the mailing in January and on the web-site, which will show examples of them all plus our new ensign.
